Scholarship Info
The Bank Negara Malaysia Scholarship Award 2016 provides opportunities for students on several levels of higher education. BNM acknowledges the importance of empowering the future generation with knowledge and skillset, the scholarship aims to financially assist students who're excelling academically.

Pre-University:
Cambridge A-Level, American Degree Foundation Program and South Australian Matriculation. For the Pre-University level, there are two (2) types of scholarship available for eligible candidates:
  • Kijang Emas Scholarships
  • Kijang Scholarships

Undergraduate:
The Undergraduate Scholarships are awarded to eligible individuals who have received offers to pursue or are currently pursuing Undergraduate studies at selected leading universities locally and overseas.

Postgraduates:
The Postgraduate Scholarships are awarded to eligible individuals who have received offers to pursue or are currently pursuing Postgraduate studies at selected leading universities locally and overseas.

Criteria
Pre-University:
Kijang Emas Scholarships
Kijang Emas scholarship are awarded to the top SPM 2015 students.The Kijang Emas recipients are given the freedom to pursue their own field of study in top universities in any country of their choice. Requirements for Kijang Emas Scholarships include:
  • Straight A+ in SPM 2015 examination
  • Not exceeding 19 years of age on 1 July 2016
  • Strong leadership qualities, high teamwork capabilities, excel in both extra-curricular activities and sports
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Kijang Scholarships
Kijang scholarships are awarded to eligible individuals to pursue pre-university and subsequently undergraduate studies in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Law and Computer Science at selected leading universities locally and overseas.
Requirements for Kijang Scholarships include:
  • Minimum 8As (A and A+ only) in SPM 2015 examination
  • Not exceeding 19 years of age on 1 July 2016
  • Strong leadership qualities, high teamwork capabilities, excel in both extra-curricular activities and sports
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Undergraduate:
  • STPM / A-Level - at least 2 A and 1 B; or
  • Diploma / Matriculation - Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.50; or
  • South Australian Matriculation - ATAR of at least 85%; or
  • American Foundation Program - SAT1 score of at least 1200; or
  • For candidates currently pursuing Undergraduate - Current CGPA of at least 3.50
  • Passed SPM with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English subjects
  • Not exceeding 25 years of age on 1 July 2016
  • Obtained an offer to pursue or is currently pursuing Undergraduate studies in 2016 from the Bank's list of approved universities
Additional requirements include:
  • Strong leadership qualities, high teamwork capabilities, excel in both extra-curricular activities and sports
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Postgraduates:
  • Obtained a First Class (Honours) Bachelor / Master's Degree from recognised local and overseas universities
  • Not exceeding 30 years of age on 1 July 2016
  • Passed SPM with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English subjects
  • Obtained an offer to pursue or is currently pursuing Postgraduate studies in 2016 from the Bank's list of approved universities
Additional requirements include:
  • Strong leadership qualities, high teamwork capabilities, excel in both extra-curricular activities and sports
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

PNB Global Scholarship Award 2016

Scholarship Info
The PNB Global Scholarship Award 2016 programme provide opportunity for students with outstanding academic achievement in their SPM to pursue tertiary education in public universities and selected private universities, as well as top universities abroad.
The scholarship provide sponsorship to selected outstanding post-SPM students to top universities in the United Kingdom and the Australia to pursue tertiary education in the disciplines that are related to the business activity of PNB.
Prior to entry into universities, the selected students are required to undertake a two-year A-Level programme.

Deadline - March 18, 2016 
 
Criteria
  • Acquire a minimum of 8A (A and A+ only) Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia 2015
  • Acquire a minimum of 2A grade for the subject English GCE - O Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia 2015
  • Not more than 19 years old on January 2016
  • Active in extra-curricular activities and sports, high leadership qualities and teamwork are;
  • Excellent social and communication skills are; and
  • No immediate family members who have received or are receiving any awards

Scholarship Info
UEM Group Scholarship Programme is an annual programme that supports the nation's objectives of creating elite scholars and serves as a talent supply chain in developing future leaders for the country.
Overseas:
  • Undergo a pre-university programme at Kolej Yayasan UEM (KYUEM) in Lembah Beringin, before furthering studies at a reputable university overseas, notably UK, US and Australia.
Local:
Undergraduate studies at:
  • Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM),
  • Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM),
  • Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM),
  • Universiti Malaya (UM),
  • Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM),
  • Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM),
  • Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM),
  • Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) - All Branches,
  • Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and
  • Multimedia University (MMU).
  • Other will not be considered.
In nurturing our scholars, leadership training and development activities with job attachments within the UEM Group of Companies are provided throughout the programme and within the bonded period.

Overseas Scholarship:

Local Scholarship:
  • STPM/Matriculation students in 2015, results announced recently, for university enrollment in September
  • Obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50
Amount
The scholarship covers academic expenses including:
  • Tuition and examination fees,
  • Air-fares (for overseas study),
  • Insurance,
  • Allowances for books, computer and subsistence.

The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Scholarship is a program dedicated to assist and to recognize the extraordinary abilities among students.
The scholarship provides opportunities for those who wishes to pursue a Postgraduate degree in selected fields. The advantage of the scholarship is in terms of the amount of scholarship offered, the conditions of eligibility and placement in leading universities.
There are 12 scholarships available for doctoral level (Ph.D.) and 6 scholarships for Masters degree.

Criteria 
 
General Conditions:
  • A Malaysian citizen
  • Applicants must not exceed 35 years of age on the year of which the program starts.
Special Conditions:
  • Have a Bachelor / Master recognized by the Government with minimum CGPA of 3.75 or first class or equivalent therewith;
  • Active in co-curricular or social activities or produce creative work and innovative;
  • Priority will be given to applicants who are fluent in more than one international language;
  • The applicant must obtain a study in Science and Technology, Economics, Law and Finance Institute at a research university such. Please refer to ANNEX B1 or world universities (Ivy League) according to the Times Higher Education (THE), QS World University Ranking, Academic Ranking World Universities (ARWU), Barron's Profiles of American Colleges in Annex B2; and 
  • Studies for a Master's degree is in research mode or mixed mode, which requires the preparation of a research paper or a dissertation or thesis.
