University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarships

A great Scholarship opportunity for International students to study in Auckland University in New Zealand is available. The University of Auckland is inviting domestic and International students to apply for the  University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarships.

 Up to three scholarships shall be awarded annually. Each Scholarship will provide a tax-free stipend of up to $40,000 per annum plus compulsory tuition fees and international student health insurance, for up to 36 months. Part-time students shall be paid pro-rata for up to 72 months.

Scholarships are available for doctoral programme.

 Eligibility:

Scholarships are awarded to scholars enrolled full-time at the University of Auckland who have paid the fees or have arranged to pay the fees, for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy or the research component of another approved Doctorate and who have worked as a health professional for at least three years. The scholarships may also be available to domestic students for whom socially compelling reasons make part-time enrolment preferable. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for registration for a doctorate as described in the statutes of the University and will need to have an appropriate research programme in a health-related area and provide evidence that it has been accepted by the proposed supervisor and the Head of the Department in which the research is to be carried out.


Benefit:

Pacific Humanitarian Leadership Scholarships


This is a great scholarship opportunity for Pacific Island citizens to study in universities and colleges in Australia. The scholarship is called Pacific Humanitarian Leadership Scholarship. The scholarship is offered in partnership with the Australian Aid Programme  and it is additional scholarships for Pacific Island citizens who are accepted as students on the Humanitarian Leadership Programme.

Scholarship Benefits

Scholarship recipients will receive the following:


  • full tuition fees
  • return air travel, visa expenses and travel costs for the residential components of the course.

Scholarship eligibility criteria

Pacific applicants need to demonstrate the following:


  • current employment in a Pacific government authority or organisation in Eligible Countries
  • citizenship of an Eligible Country
  • five years’ experience of working with relevant government bodies, recognised national and international non-governmental organisations in the Pacific, UN Agencies, or private sector organisations
  • a minimum of three years in a managerial role
  • a desire to develop your leadership skills in order to make a positive contribution to the future of the sector
  • verbal and written English communication skills.

Chinese Government Scholarships for PNG Students


In accordance with the MOU on Educational Cooperation between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. The Chinese Government will provide twenty-two full bachelor’s degree scholarships and three full master’s degree scholarships for PNG students to study in China.

Qualification Requirements:

Applicants for post graduate studies must be:

PNG citizen in good health;
Must be under the age of 35 with a Bachelor Degree or higher, and;
Must complete 2 – 3 years’ work experience.
Applicants for graduate/undergraduate program must be:

PNG citizen in good health;
Be under the age of 25 with a secondary diploma or Grade Twelve (12) Higher School Certificate with high academic performance.
Requirements:
Applicants are required to submit x4 Certified Photocopies of relevant application materials listed below:

Higher School Certificate;

  • Academic Transcripts;
  • Detailed Study Plan;
  • Two Recommendation Letters;
  • A Character Reference Letter from a Parish Priest/Pastor/Church Elder;
  • X4 passport sized photos attached to each application;
  • Birth Certificate;
  • Police Clearance Form;
  • Curriculum Vitae, and;
  • Current/Valid contact information of Parents/Guardians (separate sheet).

Priority field of study:
The priority areas of study include: sciences, technology, agriculture, medicine, economics, law, management, education, history, liberal arts, and philosophy.

The Solomon Islands Government (SIG) scholarships are provided to Solomon Islands students to study abroad or at local instutions.  The scholarships are offered to  Solomon Islanders who have been employed and wishing to further their studies (in-service) as well as high school students who have finished their form seven studies (pre-service).

Scholarships for African and European Students in Canada - University of Laval

There is a great Scholarship opportunity for International Students from African and European students to study in Canada. The University of Laval is now calling for students to apply scholarships to undergo various master programs in the institution. The aim of the scholarships is to enhance academic excellence by providing scholarships for international students who are citizens of an African or European country apart from France and are admitted to a master’s course at University Laval. No separate forms are to be filled for the scholarship; applicants only need to apply for a master program before the deadline to be eligible.

$7,000 per annum which is renewable once according to compliance with the faculty’s criteria of excellence and research director’s recommendation and faculty approval.

  • graduated from a public university accredited by the ministry of higher education in your country of origin. For private institutions, eligibility is determined when the file is reviewed.
  • registered full time for the two first semesters in the program of study for which the scholarship was granted.
  • must have good knowledge of French.
